St. Clare Mahjong tiles are crafted with care and designed to endure. A few simple practices will help preserve their finish and character.
Handle with clean, dry hands.
As with needlework, natural oils from the hands can affect surfaces over time.
Wipe lightly when needed.
A soft, dry cloth is usually sufficient. If needed, a damp cloth may be used, but we recommend avoiding cleaners or harsh chemicals.
Do not submerge the tiles in water.
Store in a cool, dry place.
While made for play, tiles benefit from thoughtful storage. Tiles are best kept in a cool, dry place, away from prolonged heat, direct sunlight, or moisture.
